A small independent studio

Made by the people
who actually use it

ASHA Technology is a two-person studio that makes things by hand — apps, prints, and a bit of music for the fun of it. We make apps to solve problems we run into ourselves, and we hope they help you just as much.

Our apps

Made because we needed them

VenueSpy app icon

VenueSpy

Gig-tracking CRM for musicians & comedians

Track every venue, booking, and dollar from your gigs. Venue outreach with status tracking, a bookings calendar with drive-time alerts, income and mileage for tax season, setlists, and PDF invoicing — all in one app, for a one-time price.

MigraineSpy app icon

MigraineSpy

A migraine journal you can use mid-migraine

Most trackers assume you can fill in a form. This one assumes you are having a migraine right now and cannot. One tap to start, one tap to end — intensity, symptoms, notes and medications are all optional and can wait. A real calendar, streaks in both directions, and colour that mutes itself while an attack is running. Your journal never leaves your device.

PlentyBook app icon

PlentyBook

A clean checkbook register for everyday money

Keep a running balance across all your accounts — like a paper check register, but on your phone. Newest entries first, optional categories, and a tap to mark items cleared. Back up your data or move it freely between iPhone and Android. Your first account is free; a one-time $4.99 unlocks as many as you need — no subscription.

Beyond the apps

Made by hand, too

The software is only half the story — here's what else fills the days.

🎸

Music & comedy

Music and comedy are Hal's favorite hobby — writing songs, playing rooms, making people laugh. It's the hobby that inspired VenueSpy. Hear the songs on the music site, or follow along on Instagram.

3D printing

Small-batch 3D printing out of the home workshop — functional parts, figures, and custom one-off pieces. Browse the gallery to see the kind of work on offer, or commission a print of your own. New pieces get posted on Instagram as they come off the bed.

How we build

Small company. Strong opinions.

🛠️

Built from real need

Every app starts as a tool we needed ourselves. If it doesn't survive daily use by its own maker, it doesn't ship.

💵

Honest pricing

You'll always know exactly what you're paying and what you get for it. No dark patterns, no surprise renewals, no features held hostage after you've paid.

🔒

Privacy by default

Your data lives on your device. No analytics SDKs, no third-party trackers, no servers of ours that ever see what you enter. We can't sell what we can't see.

About

The story so far

ASHA Technology LLC is a small, two-person family company — equal partners in everything the studio makes.

Hal's lifelong hobby is music and comedy. Even a hobby comes with venues to remember, dates to keep straight, and costs to track — and spreadsheets were never built for that. That's how VenueSpy was born, shaped by real rooms and real nights on stage. It launched on the App Store in 2026, with an Android version on the way.

More tools are in the works — all built the same way: by one person, for a real problem, with your privacy left alone.
